Dean Moore

Senior Pastor

Dean is married to Andrea and they have 3 children. He completed a BMin, Dip Th, AdvDipChrStud at Morling Theological College. Dean has been a pastor at RBC for 12 years and the Senior Pastor for 8 of those years.

Prior to full-time ministry Dean was a director of DGM Homes Pty Ltd, a company that constructed homes in the Illawarra and Hunter regions.

Dean is the vibrant and dynamic leader of a great team of both paid and volunteer staff. As Senior Pastor Dean has built a strong team who are committed firstly to Jesus, then each other and the church whom Jesus has entrusted to their care. Dean is keen to see his leaders grow and develop. Dean believes this is best achieved through on going education and a culture of accountability, through both internal and external processes. Dean expects his team to be constantly pushing to develop and live out their own faith with vigour and integrity.

Dean has great faith and vision and is seeking to build a contemporary and exciting church community. Dean is passionate about sharing his faith, which is the reason he loves to lead Alpha groups and nurture new and growing Christians. He is also committed to helping the RBC community reach their potential in Jesus both individually and corporately.

Dean shares his messages with much colour and humour that is relevant and appealing to all generations. He constantly seeks ways to communicate the message of God’s forgiveness, love and kindness in a manner to which people can easily relate. He is committed to seeing all at RBC pushing on in maturity and having active and mature relationships with God and each other.
